- Usage: quiz/gameplay interactions, device type, app version, coarse region.
- Content: study documents you upload to generate quizzes (stored encrypted).
- Diagnostics: crash logs and performance metrics.
2. How we use information
- Provide core features (AI quiz generation, matchmaking, leaderboards).
- Maintain fair play via Ember Anti-Cheat (integrity checks & fraud signals).
- Improve product quality and support; communicate updates and changes.
3. Sharing & disclosure
We do not sell personal data. We may share with:
- Service providers under confidentiality and data-processing agreements.
- Legal authorities when required by law or to protect users and services.
- Teams/classes you explicitly join, where your profile and scores may be visible.
4. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to systems is role-limited and audited. Competitive sessions use additional integrity signals through Ember Anti-Cheat.
5. Data retention
We retain information as long as necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes. You can delete uploaded documents and generated quizzes from your account.
6. Your rights
- Access, correct, delete, or export your data (subject to verification).
- Opt out of non-essential analytics/cookies.
- EEA/UK/Swiss users may contact local DPAs. C² acts as Data Controller.
